Kate Evans (I.I.H.H.T. , H.F.S.T)
is registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists. She is our most experienced therapist and has been with Health Focus for 9 years.

Holistic Therapy

Kate trained at Radbrook College, Shrewsbury, where she qualified in massage, aromatherapy, reflexology and Indian head massage. She has also achieved Diplomas in Sports massage and treatment of sport injuries.
More recently, she has attended Master classes at the Clare Maxwell-Hudson School of Massage in London and qualified in Advanced Reflexology at the Tony Porter School, London.

MASSAGE is one of the oldest and most popular therapies. The power of touch has been scientifically proven to be most beneficial for many problems of both mind and body. It is excellent for all muscular aches and pains and also for stress relief as well as maintaining a state of relaxation and well-being by improving circulation of both blood and lymph. It is effective in the control of pain.

REFLEXOLOGY involves pressure or massage on various points of the feet, which causes a response in the corresponding parts of the body. It is extremely beneficial for headaches, stress, migraine, exhaustion, insomnia, sinusitis, menstrual and menopausal problems, poor immune response and much more.

AROMATHERAPY treatments are of the highest professional standard using essential oils of the finest quality which are individually blended to suit each client. No pre-blended oils are used and these massages are particularly beneficial for emotional or physiological problems and can be deeply relaxing or invigorating according to needs.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE is a great stress buster! Each treatment lasts half an hour and is performed in a seated position. It consists of massage on the shoulders, neck, scalp and face.
